Course Objective

The aim of this course is to inform students about flight psychology and draw attention to how human beings' physiological and psychological mechanisms function as a whole during flight and in every aspect of life. In addition, it aims to make students aware of themselves as human beings and raise awareness about the limitations of their own organisms and how errors or accidents occur due to these limitations.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Explain basic psychological concepts.
2   Discuss the issues of flight psychology and aviation adaptability.
3   Analyze the psychological factors affecting flight safety.
4   Explain the place and importance of psychology in aviation; what are the positive and negative effects on motivation, performance, mission success, accidents.
