Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Exams may be multiple-choice tests, homework assignments, or a traditional written exam. The course grade is calculated by taking 40% of the midterm exam grade and 60% of the final exam grade.

Assessment Criteria

The student accurately defines the materials used in dental implants and explains the basic principles of implant biomechanics.
The student identifies the correct indications in different clinical cases, analyzes treatment planning, and selects the appropriate type of implant.
The student evaluates the short- and long-term success criteria of implant therapy according to case characteristics and interprets possible complications.
