Course Objective

Culture is one of the most important elements of being human. For this reason, a person has to have knowledge about every subject throughout his life. The main purpose of this course is to equip students with knowledge and to enable them to gain reasoning ability.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Will be able to define all kinds of concepts related to different fields, primarily those related to communication, art and culture.
2   Will be able to interpret technological developments and accordingly changing artistic and cultural perception forms.
3   Will be able to understand contemporary/contemporary art practices.
4   Will be able to analyze the organic relations between art, communication and society.
5   Explains the creative process in their field and develops designs that emphasize creativity.
6   Will be able to work creatively, flexibly and independently in a disciplined and self-created line.
7   They will be able to use the tools and equipment required in their profession at the right place and at the right time, and will be able to implement their projects within the specified time.
8   Will be able to transform their creative ideas into multimedia applications.

8 The birth of mass media. First of all, the basic concepts of newspaper and printing industry
9 What radio, television, internet and other communication tools have brought to humanity
10 Basic information on national culture and universal culture
11 The effects of cultural sovereignty on nations and the importance of language in this regard
12 Cultural approach in dentistry
13 Discussing the basic knowledge learned with students
14 Assessing the basic knowledge learned with students
