Course Objective

The profession of dentistry is a profession that benefits from the developments of today's technology. The use of computer applications is very important in the use of these technological developments.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student identifies computer hardware.
2   The student demonstrates understanding of web-based learning systems.
3   The student applies the computer in dental practice.
4   The student prepares promotional materials using ready-made templates.
5   The student follows technological developments closely and analyzes their relevance to dentistry.
6   The student evaluates the advantages and limitations of different digital tools on a case basis.

Further Notes About Assessment Methods

Exams may be multiple-choice tests, homework assignments, or a traditional written exam. The course grade is calculated by taking 40% of the midterm exam grade and 60% of the final exam grade.

3. The student should be able to prepare promotional material with a ready-made template.
