Course Objective

This course aims to provide students with knowledge about the history of dentistry.

3   Defines the methods and instruments used throughout history.
4   Explains the process of dentistry becoming a profession.
5   Explains past practices in relation to contemporary dentistry.

Assessment Criteria

The course grade is determined by calculating 40% of the midterm examination and 60% of the final examination. A resit examination is administered for students who do not pass.
