Course Objective

To teach general knowledge about the scientific and rational breeding of various cat and dog breeds, the basic principles of care and nutrition, shelters, basic training and management, as well as health-related information.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   1. Understands the structure, functions, care, feeding, and breeding methods of cats and dogs.
2   2. Clinically identifies cat and dog diseases, collects diagnostic samples when necessary, and sends them to relevant laboratories.
3   3. Learns the importance of taking necessary precautions for public health and environmental protection.
4   4. Follows and applies national and international legislation related to cat and dog breeding.
5   5. Knows and applies information regarding animal protection laws.
6   6. Advises pet owners on training based on understanding the temperament of cats and dogs.
