Course Objective

The aim of this course; It is to provide the necessary information about the legal and ethical responsibilities of veterinarians, to ensure that the students comply with the veterinary legislation, to make the right decision with the help of different problems they may encounter in their professional life, and to put them into practice correctly.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Understands the importance of ethical principles in the face of professional problems and provides the ability to use them.
2   Teaches the legal responsibilities of veterinarians.
3   Provides to students with the ability to solve ethical problems that may be encountered in professional and social life.
4   Gains the ability to evaluate legal problems that may be encountered in professional life.
5   Learns the relationship and differences between veterinary ethics and animal use ethics.
