Course Objective

This course aims to help the student understand the basic elements and principles of drawing in the context of human figure.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   The student is expected to develop his or her observational skills
2   develop his or her knowledge of anotomy and aesthetic sensibility towards the human form.
3   bocome knowledgeable about the various ways of designing three dimension on two-dimensional surface (e.g. geometric form, volume, line, mass)
4   conceptualize and apply such basic elements of design as line, value, two-dimentional form, volume, texture, light and shade in terms of expression
5   become knowlegeable about the methods and principles of drawing such as comparing and contrasting parts in theri relation to the whole, placement of elements on the surface, wieght, balance, emphasis, contrast and rhtym
