sedimentary rocks, sedimentary sequences and environments, models of sedimentary
infill, facies and facies contacts, unconformities, rock units, time-rock units, time
units, biostratigraphic units, correlation methods of stratigraphic units, sequence
stratigraphy and methods of applied stratigraphy have been investigated.

Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods

basic knowledge and main principles of stratigraphy will be given in face to face
learning. These principles will be applied in each application. ın order to establish
stratigraphic sequence of a given area, a field work will be done.
