Course Objective

Aimed to give information to the Civil Engineer candidates about the excavation, filling, compaction, loading, unloading and crushing machines, operation and maintenance principles for various construction and cost elements.

1   To know the machines used in civil engineering applications.
2   To understand the working principles of construction machines.
3   Choosing the appropriate Machines to the project.
4   To know the use principles of construction machines.
5   Knowledge of the principles of construction machinery maintenance and repair.

Visual presentations and the slides presentation given in the course(sent to the students before class to read via e-mail.). The preparation and presentation of homework given to each student at the beginning of the period.
