Course Objective

Defining the structure and functioning of the Turkish sports organization.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   To have theoretical, historical and applied knowledge in the field of public administration and to be able to use this information interdisciplinary.
2   Recognizing and evaluating the organizational and operational problems of public administration
3   Understanding the changes and developments in the field of public administration
4   Awareness of values such as justice, equality and social rights in the field of public administration
5   To have detailed information about Turkish sports organization structure.

6 Organizational Structure of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
7 General Directorate of Sports and its functioning.
8 Independent sports federations, establishment and functioning.
9 NOC - National Olympic Committee of Turkey.
10 Rewarding in Sports Activities - Award Regulations.
11 Presidency of Spor Toto Organization and its functioning.
12 Local Governments and sports (Municipalities, Special Provincial Administrations and Governorships). Amateur Sports Clubs Confederation structure.
