#### Course Objective

This course aims at constructing the base by teaching fundamental mathematical knowledge with theory and application. It also targets to make students gain practical skills for vocational areas besides a rational approach and solution ability for the problems. It is also within the scope of this course to show the significance and aim of mathematics.

#### Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

 1 Be able to comprehend function and characteristics, limits and continuity of functions 2 Be able to comprehend the derivative of the functions, to make various applications and to apply engineering problems 3 Be able to comprehend integration of functions, to apply engineering problems and areas of use in real-life 4 Be able to comprehend Matrices, determinants, vectors and vector spaces 5 Be able to understand eigenvalues and eigenvectors, to solve systems of linear equations, to apply engineering problems
