Course Objective

The students will be able to do counseling with elder people.

Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1   Aging, aging theories and learn the importance of social support in old age, 2   Awareness about the problems of old age, 3   Learning the ways of communication with the elders. 4   To detect the effects of elder abuse, Learning to Upgrade to the quality of life of the elderly, 5   To gain proficiency psychological counseling with the elderly.

Loneliness 8 Midterm 9 F. Anxiety, 10 G. Sexual Dysfunctions 11 H. Sleep Disorders 12 Psychological assistance to the elderly patient, communication with the elderly, 13 Elder abuse, Measures to Upgrade to the quality of life of the elderly, 14 Aging and nutrition , Psychological counseling techniques. 15 Final Exam.
